Account Manager Position

At Safelight Security, we are looking for an Account Manager (AM) to work hand-in-hand with our practice leaders to fully develop each region from a SMB focus to the largest enterprises and ISV’s.

The Safelight AM will be focused on:

  • Finding and responding to prospects in a timely fashion
  • Selling Safelight Security’s unique training solutions over the phone, email and web conferencing

Safelight has a large contacts database and you will help it grow. This is a revenue-closing role with aggressive incentives for strong workers.

Technical background is not required if you have the self-confidence, talent, and work ethic to succeed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, & annual quota
  • Work with the sales teams to properly execute a regional sales strategy
  • Work with OEM and Resale Partners on opportunities, relationships and other sales requirements
  • Accurately and meticulously record client information and details of correspondence in Salesforce.com
  • Execute call campaigns to generate leads, prospects and opportunities
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
  • Be confident in positioning our value proposition from the operator level to the executive level
  • Introduce Safelight’s technology and engage prospects in active dialogue to prove value, earn trust, and close business
  • Qualify and rate prospects via phone and email
  • Deliver product demonstrations when necessary

Skills & Requirements

  • 1+ year inside sales and/or lead generation experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Professional phone etiquette with a strong phone presence
  • Desire and aptitude for continuous learning, achievement, and success
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and an outgoing, energetic personality
  • Demonstrated work ethic and consistent track record of overachievement
  • Strong qualification, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to adapt to, contribute to, and succeed in a rapidly-changing, fast-paced early-stage company environment
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment as well as individually
