This role-specific intermediate course is designed for experienced developers and architects working in a .NET environment.

This focused course equips students with a clear understanding of the built-in security features of .NET as well as best practices for coding securely.

Topics will include: authentication; authorization; auditing and logging; exception handling; input validation; an introduction to cryptography; and application testing approaches. Students should have an understanding of information security basics before taking this course; our Application Security Fundamentals course is the ideal prerequisite.
